| Kenny: I have looked at the rule book, and I can't figure out what the Horizon Group did wrong in the first place. If I were them, I'd be grilling ARCSOA right now! | |

| Although no official announcement in the form of a press release was released, it was seen on the HorizonGroup social media pages that the team would be appealing the ruling given by ARCSOA officials deeming their cars illegal. More is expected to come. | |

| Collins starting disease awareness foundation
Kyle Collins is planning on starting a disease awarness foundation with the help of any drivers who want to. Basically the plan is each Elite's driver who wants to participate will pick a charity and the better they race the more money they will earn. Fans can also pledge money during the race to the driver of their choice, the winner of the race will earn $100 for their charity (the winning $100 will be donated from the Canada Racing League). Any drivers want to give this a try?
((Kenny, I will take this down if you want. I thought it would be an interesting and original idea for the Elite's))

| Appeals court sides with Horizon Group, Perkins' win reinstated, Haley fired
In an expected decision by the ARCSOA appeals process, the Horizon Group was re-declared the winner of the American 700, and Syron on Perkins' positions were reinstated. ARCSOA CEO Stephanie Tilton stated, "It was quite clear that the Horizon Group did nothing against the rules. We did however ARCSOA compition director Todd Haley at fault for blatently penalizing a team, for an unwritten rule. In the compition director position you must remain unbiased at all times, and Mr. Haley has consistently shown that he is unable to remain unbiased, so he has been terminated from his position." Vijay Pushanda has been brought in as interim competition director for Road America. Pushanda stated, "I am only here for Road America, until the new competition director comes in." It is believed that the DuPont Cup Series competition director or the competition director from the American Champ Car Series will be brought in to take Haley's position.
