2015 DAYTONA 500 Qualifying Sessions and Duels Are Set.

With the Entry List at Daytona being with 62 drivers we do not have enough spots to hold that many cars for the biggest race of the season. We all expected this race to get packed with all kinds of teams from around the US to travel to the great race of all, THE DAYTONA 500 which will be held April 19th.

The ARCSOA and Sony Cup Series Officials have agreed on having 2 different sessions of Qualifying and Duels for the huge amount of cars, 31 Cars will take to the track in Qualifying Session 1 and then we will have Qualifying Session 2. The fastest driver out of both sessions grabs the front row for the DAYTONA 500.

NOW LISTEN!!

As long as you are the fastest in your session it don't matter if you are slower than 5 cars in the other session, you will still be guaranteed the front row for the DAYTONA 500. All you have to do in Qualifying on Pole Day is be the fastest in your session. Then we will have the qualifying races otherwise known as the DAYTONA DUELS, Top 20 including the front row starter for the 500 will lock themselves into the Great American race. Any driver failing to accomplish this will be sent into Last Chance Qualifier in a quick little dash race of all the drivers failing to finish in the top 20 in their duel. You must finish in the top 2 in the Last Chance Race, if their is a past champion in the Last Chance Race the most recent past champion will get what we call the past champions provisional. So that would mean, winning the Last Chance Race would be your only chance at making the DAYTONA 500.

If any of our past champions were to not make the DAYTONA 500 through their DAYTONA Duels, some may say they got a free way into the 500 with their past champions provisional but this is not the case. Just like NASCAR, The ARCSOA Sony Cup Series will only accept 1 Past Champion provisional. An if multiple past champions are in the last chance race, well some hearts are like to get broken. We only use the MOST RECENT past champion to get the final starting spot.

Here is the list of most recent past champions. Already before we take to the tracks, no matter what Jordan Newman (Last Seasons Champion) does in speedweeks he will get the chance to start the 19th Annual DAYTONA 500.

Coorwiser Split into half, Jeff and Collins in Group 1, Me and Luke in Group 2! Hopefully we can find each other on track!

@ZacharyFitzwater If you are thinking this is the starting line up for the Duels you are wrong. That is just simply the list of drivers in the field for the duels because we did a random draw. The guys out of your "Duel" will qualify for the 500 first. Whoever sits on pole in each sessions get the front row. And how ever you qualified that will be how you line up in the Duel.

I have to say if you finished in the top 16 you move on no matter what. You don't get kicked at all. That would make 17th - 20th a bubble, because of Championship Provisional, and Team Points can knock them out.

Jake Baskinger, Luke Martin, Noah Hart, Jeffery Lynn, James Silverfox, and Jordan Davis (They are all on teams that have been around and done well in the past Swag, Stuttgart, Blue Flare, and etc. are new teams)

So Jake, Luke, Noah, Lynn, Silverfox, and Davis lock in through team points, and Perkins gets the Championship Provisional

So that Locks in *Drum Roll* Sean Harple.

Charles Jackson, James Shelly, Zebulu Stark, and Dillon Young enter the LCQ

If Noah has already record the LCQ (Which he has probably done). Jeffery Lynn, James SilverFox, Sean Perkins, and Jordan Davis will bump 4 drivers out of the Daytona 500 (Most likely the 4 that I'm saying should be in LCQ). From what I know that is how this is going to work.

That sounds interesting enough but I can't help if there is a mistake in the race that locks you out. All 62 of the drivers knew what they where getting into. Today, 59 drivers had an unknown destiny in their hopes in proceeding forward to try and make the DAYTONA 500. The Team Points look good but I had no previous points list to go off of. We have already set our notes strictly to this format for speedweeks and I would rather not proceed in changing it up last minute. As it stands, everything that has happened so far will stand.

However I am considering a Top 35 Rule for the season of cars trying to qualify in on time with the car counts expected to be over 42.

Somehow I made it with a vibration and getting spun out. And somehow I got 17th. WTF?

Jordan Davis: This is a bunch of bullshit. I'm going into LCQ thinking Championship Provisional will save me if Sean Perkins finishes in the top 2. Next thing I know Sean Perkins is sandbagging it! I get up all in his grill after the race to hear he didn't make it either. So 2 champions didn't make the fucking race. Well I thought at least Team Owner Points will save me. NOPE! They haven't kept owners points. Since ARCSOA picked back up the series Team Points from last season don't count. So I become the first Mace Enterprise car in history not to make the Daytona 500. So a big "f you" to all the big wigs up ARCSOA booth.

OOC: I'm not completely mad, but the fucking pits glitched and knocked me out duel, so that was the first piece of bullshit. So I'm kinda mad at Noah at not rerecording after that piece of crap.
