| Just of note: If a car attempted Fontana, it is automatically entered into the Indianapolis 250!
ARCSOA announces amended qualifying format for Indianapolis.
ARCSOA CEO Stephanie Tilton along with compitition director Vijay Pushanda announced that the Indianapolis 250 would have a different qualifying format then the American 700. Here is how it will work.
-Every Car will be seeded based on their practice times.
-The cars seeding position will determine which of the 4 Qualifying session you will be slotted in.
-The top 10 from each session are locked in.
-The top 10 fastest cars of the 40 cars will fight for the pole.
-Positions 41-83 will fight for the FINAL TWO SPOTS!!!
Miss Tilton state, "We felt like too many full time teams were at a disadvantage with the qualifiers here at Indy. Qualifying speeds have been used two determine Indianapolis races since before any of us were born... that's why we are not having qualifying races!"

| McLaren an entry to the 500 McLaren decides to come out of the shadows and begin racing in the stock cars for Indy! McLaren might take Sean Angel and Jake Baskinger for the 2015 IF Cooper Syron and Ehtisham Phadkar do well enough in Porsche before then. If not, Porsche Owner, Tristian Wilhoit will reinstate Angel and Baskinger while McLaren tries to offer Phadkar and Syron those rides. | |
