M.I.R (Music Industry Racing) is a new team that is based off the music industry. Forming in the UK they were originally called the Speedy Gonzales Motorsports. Then they got sued for that name so they basically went nameless for a couple months. After their British Developmental driver pulled off 4 top 10s in an unsponsored car they got contract offers from 2 record labels. Syco Music and Capital Records, they accepted the Syco Music contract and named their team Music Industry Racing, that was too long so they abbreviated it to M.I.R. Ever since then the only sponsor requests they've gotten are from record labels. One of the more notable ones they have are Cherrytree Records which they are using in the Vodafone Advanced series! After 5 years of racing in only UK they got a email from the ARCSOA CEO saying they'd like M.I.R to come over and give ARCSOA a try. And that's where they are now...
