OOC: I don't necessarily want to set a record this season... However I would like some solid entries with BACKSTORY. I am going to have a bit of backstory going into this American 700. Or at least a better storyline then last seasons where it was just, well Hot.

Canadian SCS standout to attempt American 700
Jeff James has come onto the world of the Sony Cup Series and taken it by storm. Now it is confirmed he will take on the greatest stock car series in the world, in one of the toughest races on the planet, The American 700. ARCSOA 3 time champion Kenny Myatt had this to say about James, "He has a god given talent, I am surprised that the American 700 will be his first start. To be honest, he has a lot more talent then what he is showing in the Sony Cup Series. He could be a real star on July 2nd." Word has it Jeff James will be with a competitive one off team next season, no word who it may be.

William Duncan will return once again, piloting his familiar #51 car. Duncan, despite racing since Season 5, has never won an AES race. He will try again at finally getting it. Hopefully Pericles won't screw him over again.
Also, Kyle Nova will attempt the race in his PT car, but who cares about that?

Jesse Turner interested in running American 700
After his whole team's impressive top 10 run at Mosport in the Sony Cup series, Jesse Turner was struck with an interesting question during his post-race interview.
Reporter: "So you're doing quite well for yourself, both as a driver and team co-owner. The American 700 is around the corner, do you have any plans to attempt that race and show the Elite Series drivers what you're made of?" Turner: "Hmm, that's a good one. It certainly won't hurt to at least try, I'm definitely open to try new things out and expand my horizons to a new series. Whether I can get tabbed for a ride or enter in my own car, that's yet to be determined for now. Hope it can be either one of those two things. Those Elite Series drivers sure know how to wheel a race car, and I think we can give it a try."

New talent?! From the land of the Rising Sun?!
It seems the team of Divine Dragon Motorsports wants to fill in their entries. And they have their drivers in mind. Zelda 'Tiki' Yamauri from Osaka, and Satsuki Jakuzure from Kyoto, are scheduled to make the entries. From their background in racing, the two might make an impact. In cars 888 and 999. The team might bring in Acura as their Manufacturer, but it's all in the air.
Shock Sr. to return from retirement
Kyle Shock Sr., looks like he wants to join Pure Michigan and be apart of the field with his son Jr. Sr., who retired at the age of 39(Now 50) wants to make it to the field, and even wants to ruff it up with the big boys one last time.

Former ARC CEO claims at least 10 former ARC drivers on the American 700 grid, hints at ARC revival
20 seasons ago, the American Racing Championship CEO Byron James announced that the series would fold due to lack of funding. Now Byron James is hinting at a possible revival of the series starting with entering the American 700. James, now 68 years old is currently frustrated with the turn that the ARCSOA Elite Series has turned. "It is very reminiscent of the old Racing Series of America. It is far too political. Whenever someone had trouble in ARC, everyone jumped in to help, no matter how big or small the team is," James said. "Now you have teams like Blue Flare who are struggling to stay afloat. Then you have a bunch of European manufactures in an American car series, that is just criminal. We should be promoting North American car manufactures, not a bunch of car companies run by communists or people who eat raw fish for breakfast. The series started off really strong with Bill Carpenter leading it, now they have that girl Tilton who has no clue what she is doing. She belongs in a kitchen, not the board room of a stock car series."
ARCSOA CEO Stephanie Tilton fired back by saying, "This clown was the sole reason why the ARC series failed. He didn't adapt with the culture, which grew far more politically correct. While that happened, the ARC Series consisted of all White Male involvement, and when a female did show up, she was either a supermodel that was marketed as a sex object, or was casted off as nobody who should have remained in the kitchen or on her back. The ARCSOA Elite Series is far more open to minority and foreign involvement. And there is no room for this clown to run a stock car series."
James however did have one nice thing to say about the ARCSOA Elite Series, "I love the American 700, it is a fantastic way to celebrate the birthday of our wonderful nation. That is why we fully intend on having at least 10 former ARC drivers and teams on the American 700 entry list. When they win, it will prove that the planned revival of ARC is a serious threat."
However at this stage, Stephanie Tilton blocked the 10 former ARC teams from the entry list, however it looks like ARCSOA could face legal trouble unless the ARC teams are allowed. Tilton stated, "I really don't have much of a choice, their equipment looks like it will be competitive, and I really don't have any other grounds to stop them from entering. I have tried but I can't find any rule to bar them from entering."
James in conclusion stated, "The former ARC team owners looking to enter, intend on putting their winnings into one lump sum, that will be used to help reform the series for next season. Then the American Racing Championship will be reformed once again to mass fanfare."
ARCSOA driver Kenny Myatt who was the first ARCSOA Elite Series champion stated, "I can not see the revival of the American Racing Championship being very successful if they don't have funding going in. The winnings from the American 700 would help them out. This is the time for all of the ARCSOA Elite Series to unite, and take down the enemy that is the former American Racing Championship drivers in this seasons American 700. If one of them does win, we could have a serious problem for the future stability of stock car racing in America."
OOC: Please enter drivers with former history being in the ARC series. Or even family members of ARC drivers. Drivers would have to be at least 40 years old however.

Tom Allen, 64, former 3 time ARC Champion, and former team president of AFRT in DWSR is looking to make one last racing start.
Former ARC champion Tom Allen, father of Andreas and Alex, and grand father of Vincent Allen, has announced that he would like to attempt to make the American 700 "I have watched my family run in this special race for multiple seasons and watched Vincent win it. I've always wanted to make an attempt at a one-off, but my health issues over the past 11 or 12 years made it impossible to drive a car,but thanks to multiple surgeries and titanium plates put into my back, I have been cleared to drive one last time.I would like to make my last start in the biggest race of the year."

The father of the fallen Jeffery Finguy, JF Finguy has confirmed rumors that he will return for the American 700. Being about the age of 66. JF will be the oldest Finguy family member to attempt the American 700 grid. Recently, he and his sons last team DurbinSports;Sanctum have been in talks of letting him drive one of their cars. And putting on it, his son's 92. "I'm not here for ARC's revival." He said in a comment. The former ARC champion said. "I'm only here for what this series has done after his death. ARC never even took safety into consideration. Screw them. My son was a great driver under ARCSOA. And I want his memory to continue."

Finguy-Psytomi Motorsports returns but under a different mission. They'll go in headstrong this time, making sure they will make the grid. And the teams past has been revealed to be a former team under JF Finguy. JFI(Or JFInc.) They will do there part, so ARC will NEVER ride once more.

Kenny: Drake Bell? I didn't know he was still a thing, let alone having a concert at the American 700.
Kenny: With all the concerts, I don't think we are going to get any track time on race day before the green flag.
Vijay: I think you are right, I have talked it out with Steph, and she pretty much expects to use the track as a concert hall the day of the race. It is down to two groups for the National Anthem, one is some boy band called Heart 2 Heart in which Stephanie has been fangirling over, and the other is a childrens choir out of Colorado. Personally I heard some crap from the Heart 2 Heart group, and needless to say I hope the children's choir wins.
Kenny: Oh dear god, Heart 2 Heart had that song on YouTube that was SO BAD that it didn't even go viral on the internet, during a time where every crappy song in the universe was going viral.
Kenny: Weird Al and Rick Astley have concerts... that is awesome!

Argentine companies and the Argentine Football team sponsored the car, and set Vargas with the best automotive crew in Argentina.
