James Silverfox

1990-Present (25 Years Old)

James Silverfox was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany on September 17th, 1990. His father and former US Lieutenant Ryan Silverfox and German mother Anja Maus secretly dated in the early 1980s, but weren't allowed to wed until after the fall of the Berlin Wall, as his mother was from East Germany, less than a year later, James was born. At the young age of 4, his parents had another child, and thus little brother Aric was born. Not long after Aric's birth, the Silverfox family was transferred to Fort Devens, near Boston. The family was neighbors with the Nelson family, which is where Silverfox met Allie Nelson, as they were childhood friends growing up.

James in his early years was never interested in racing cars. At first, motocross racing was his preferred choice of motorsport, and while he was mildly successful, he didn't have the talent to really make it far enough to go into the higher divisions. The American side of the Silverfox family was known for participating in auto racing in previous generations. The most successful of the family was James' uncle Ruff Silverfox. One of the more well known racers in the Midwest and Northeast areas, he was known for a his knack for short track and road course racing in any vehicle. When Ruff retired, he formed a small team near Albany, where he searched for a driver to mentor. Throughout his childhood Ruff continued to press James about racing for his team, James though never showed much interest, neither would his parents let him drive a vehicle without a license.

Things changed for the young fox, when his uncle convinced him to let him take him to a stock car grand prix at Watkins Glen. After seeing the horsepower and speed of such magnificent machines of power, the roaring engines and atmosphere was enough to convince him to drive for his uncle's team.....it didn't take long for things to go right. It turned out James was a formidable racer, once he won a race it was hard to stop him from doing so. Some speculate the the reputation of Germans being efficient and precise in culture was in a way, in Silverfox's blood. Rarely did he make a mistake, and rarely did he ever make contact, something unheard of in stock car racing at the time. While James still rides his motocross bike on numerous occasions, James didn't have the raw talent his competitors in the motocross scene possessed, and there is no doubt auto racing was the best choice in the long term.

When James hit the age of 18, his uncle Ruff was invited to take part in a one off ride for Eugene Demax Motorsports at the California Round during the 9th season of the ARCSOA Elite Series. However, Ruff was involved in one of the greatest tragedies in the history of stock car racing where he and another driver "ZD" were killed in a horrific accident early on in the event. Ruff was pronounced dead upon arrival at the local hospital, shocking the Silverfox family, and sent James into a huge state of depression, though thanks to now girlfriend Allie and a few other close friends, he eventually got out of it. James initially planned to quit racing altogether, taking a long break while his uncle's team disbanded, however, fate had different ideas.

A few months after Ruff's death, the Silverfox family received a call from Eugene Denax Motorsports yet again. This time, however, it was for James. EDM offered James a full time ride in the ARCSOA Sony Cup Series in the following season, as they heard of his success in his local short tracks. After much thought, James accepted the deal. Initially he was to drive the #02 like his uncle did, James had a different idea. He choose the number #12, he stated "The 1 represents my family, as we all became one after that horrific accident, and the 2 represents me and my uncle, as I know he will be in the car with me for the rest of my career."

His first Sony Cup season went quite alright. While he failed to be consistent, James managed to pull off numerous Top 10 finishes. At Las Vegas, the biggest moment of his life strike when he managed to avoid a wreck in the final laps, becoming the leader after others in front of him crashed into slower cars, winning the race under caution. EDM let go of him however after the end of the season, however it was not over with just yet for the young man. 2 weeks before the next season started, Silverfox was offered a full-time ride at the highly regarded Mace Enterprises team. His hiring was a last minute decision due to their other contracted driver quitting the team. Silverfox did incredibly well, leading the points standings for almost the entire season, including a luck win at South Boston, a race track he has been known for dominating in during his short track days. Though due to some bad luck, he just barely lost the Championship at the final race of the season.

From then on James hip hopped across numerous teams, having good and bad seasons, and for several years, failed to win any races. Though he did manage to start pulling off more wins (Most notably at short tracks) as time progressed, though James has always preferred consistency over winning. During this time he took the assets of his uncles team, attained sponsors in Germany, and signed deals with BMW, this is where Cybertron Motorsports was born. Silverfox is one of the youngest race team owners in the world, and years of car engineering classes and information passed down from his family, managed to create a team that would soon one day become one of the most dominating teams in ARCSOA history.

Soon James was offered to race in the ARCSOA Elite Series, and while James doesn't really like to talk about it, is one of the more well known racers in the series. Here he has gained a reputation of being very talkative and a large critic, making him liked and disliked among many fans of the series. With multiple wins and a strong teammate, him and CBM are thriving with their onslaught of BMWs.

James Silverfox nowadays is considered as a young father figure type, giving advice to anyone who wants it and while can be negative a lot, cares about his fellow racers like they are family and apologies multiple times after any incident he gets involved in and is the first driver on the scene after any major accident. He has been dating Allie Nelson for almost ten years now, but has yet to pop the question, stating that him and Allie are more focused on their own careers and futures and that marriage isn't on the mind, though James has alluded that possibly the question may come soon. James Silverfox spends his off seasons in a small house in the middle of nowhere, preferring the life of peace and harmony over special lights and celebrity activities like some of his fellow drivers do.

Efficient, critic, realistic, and caring, James Silverfox is a force to be reckoned with, and could be for a very long time.
