| Skye Commons To Replace Kyle Collins Driving The #9 Coorweiser Ford
With the start of the 2015 Season just starting up, owner of Coorweiser Racing had signed his drivers with the mindset of battling for wins every week, Martin spoke down in DAYTONA when he noticed a familiar face down on pitroad attempting to race into the DAYTONA 500 with an underfunded team trying to start up. That driver was an old driver of his that use to drive for him back in the day...Skye Commons. Commons driving the #66 Arc Racing Chevrolet for the first 2 races so far and has qualified his way in every race so far. Luke Martin was surprised to see Skye Commons back in the sport for the first time since Season 13. Commons had disappeared from the racing scene for 5 seasons til randomly announcing running full-time for the 2015 Season. Martin told Commons "If you would of told me you were gonna race this season I would of asked you to drive for me." Commons said back "I'm open to any big offers, thanks though that means a lot to me."
Not long after speedweeks, all the Coorweiser cars were dominate as usual. Coorweiser is a form to beat as we know it in this series. Back to Back weekends a Coorweiser was upfront mixing it up for the win. Martin really wanting Commons on his team saw a struggling Kyle Collins. Martin said "All the cars in our stable are capable of winning every race. All our drivers have shown that but Collins, he wasn't in any incidents to slow himself down or nothing. He just hasn't been able to drive what's given to him up to the front to battle. He hasn't shown no speed at all despite all the power and equipment underneath him. I'm wanting Commons in the car more than anything and with him holding our organization back I have no choice but to throw him out and put in somebody I feel confident in."

| Collins: "Damn, I guess this is my departure from the SCS. I'll attempt to be back in 2016, see you guys"
OCC: Wow. This really was a shocker, never thought I'd be kicked this early in the season. The only thing that bothers me is I have to wait an entire year to come back again. But anyways, see yah guys here at SCS!

| Ben Smith: As Owner ARC Racing we are not hiring Collins. #04, and #06 will attempt Las Vegas though as we scramble to get a driver in the #66. | |

| Sort of expected this to happen. Wouldn't be suprised to see even more guys get fired. | |

| Kyle Collins, you can still race this year. You just got to find a team to hire you. There are other drivers looking to be in the series as well | |

| Cavy would you like to drive the #66? It would be a full time ride, but you would miss Las Vegas. | |

| Myatt criticizes Coorweiser racing for "video game" like decision making
3 time ARCSOA Elite Series champion and Discover Ohio team principal Kenny Myatt was asked about the controversial decision by Coorweiser to fire driver Kyle Collins. He the gave a damning vocal statement criticizing the team. He stated,
"I know when we go part-time and see the track, it won't be very difficult to be a team like them. They are so badly run it is unbearable to watch. They may have quick cars, but if you cross Luke Martin, you are sure to be kicked to the curb. There is also blatant favoritism within that team, and Collins never had a fair chance. You have to keep in mind, this is not a video game. Many people's lives depend on the decision making of the organization they are working for. Sony Cup Series teams have been really unsteady in the past and hot tempers seem to control how people act. Coorweiser is just another example of that, and they are a disgrace to this fine series with such a storied history."

| OOC: I think maybe after 10 races if he had shown no improvement then fire him, but also I'm mad because Skye Commons was perfect for ARC Racing I thought make a Sony Cup comeback, and also give a underfunded team some good publicity. Then Collins gets kicked, and I have to hire Cavy, because I'm looking for a veteran to teach the 2 rookies I have on the team. | |

| OOC: It should not had happened in the first place in my opinion. Collins got screwed after two races because I don't know, he was getting screwed out of some stuff. I should say, If Skye doesnt perform in 5 races, bring Collins back. It was simply a stupid call, and favoritism. I would not allow that unless Collins is injured or close to damn death. Everyone, wreck a damn Coorwiser. For all I give a damn, let it be a FPM car! | |

OOC: I'm going to be completely honest here and say I was a little jealous Collins had a way better team and then I saw he got fired and I started laughing my pants off for him not even making it 3 races in but eventually Nick will be gone too I just know it and sometimes favoritism is a pain in the @$$.

| Kurtis: Firing Collins wasn't exactly the best call. It's too damn early in the season! He can perform if Coorweiser gave him more races. | |

| Bishop Jr: "I agree with everybody else. This was a stupid move made by the Coorweiser guys, Collins is a good driver. He just needs to get used to the new, fast equipment. Like, when he drove the #2 for Fuel Brothers he did amazing! Second in the points, but in the beginning of the season he struggled a little bit since he was getting used to the equipment. Ever since then he has raced in the #07, #44, and #43 for two different series. All typically slow cars in my opinion, he just needs to get used to the fast equipment and then he could be a championship contender. But this was definitely just favoritism!"
OCC: He is just like David Ragan! Ragan needed time to get used to the better equipment at JGR and look what happened when he did. He's been getting top 10 finishes along with a contract to the #55 Dream Machine!
