Subject: 2014 DuPont World Series of Racing Round 22 @ Chicago SEASON FINALE (WARNING: SPOILERS!!!) April 18th 2015, 10:03 pm
This is it, 21 Rounds of awesome racing leads up to this moment, the Championship race. Four drivers this weekend have a chance at winning the DuPont World Series of Racing Championship Cup trophy. The first season with the merge has brought a very solid season to the table with twists and turns like no other. History was made, rivalries were made, a new era was made. It's a battle between 4 manufacturers and teams that have all worked hard to get to where they are at. It's time to put it all on the line and at the end of the race, we will have a Champion.
DJ Kurtis: A driver who has fought bad luck for the majority of his DuPont career. During that time, he became a Talladega 500 winner, a Sony Cup Champion, and an American 700 winner. Can he add another accolade to his career, and put an end to the curse he has fought for the last several years? Only time will tell. DJ is driving for Cybertron Motorsports, a team looking for their 2nd Championship.
Alan Cavagnaro: A man who has taken part in one of the best comeback stories in racing history. Banned from the ARCSOA Elite Series (though now reinstated) for illegal activity, Cavagnaro cleaned up his act (mostly) and came to this season as a driver who was going to prove to everyone that he is the best and that others' hatred towards him won't stop him from becoming a Champion. He started as a driver for an underdog team, and now after so many seasons of struggling, is finally going to get the Championship opportunity he has been fighting for. He will be running this race with Red Bull, a team looking for their first Championship as a team. This is his last Red Bull race before he goes to MBR next season
Jourdain Smith: One of the current greats of racing, Jourdain the man who dominated WSR before the merge came into DWSR and proved that he was still one of the best despite the so called "Much more superior" competition. Jourdain's consistency has put him in a Championship opportunity, but Jourdain has to do what he has struggled to do this whole season, and that is win a race. It's do or die, can the Frenchman beat the DuPont drivers and bring GLACIER and the country of France a racing Championship once again?
Dillon Young: If there is one man who is hungry for redemption, it is Dillon Young. The man who did not let choking stop him from a Championship opportunity for once, is now going to get an underdog style chance for the Championship in his hometown and track of Chicagoland Speedway. Young has to become the first driver to score maximum points this weekend to win the Championship, which will not be an easy task. No more choking, it's all about pure domination now, and Young can bring that to the table. Young Motorsports is craving a Championship, could that time be now?

Alright Cavy is in the middle of both of them. All we need to donis to get infront of Davis or maybe two positions and we are clear sailing.

Turner: "It's awesome we made the finale! Our qualifying run was pretty solid, one more thousandth and I'd start in front of Alan haha. But I wish him and the other title contenders good luck, I'll try to drive smart and clean and not be in anyone's way. This'll be an exciting race to see."

OOC Before Race: Screw what I said about watching it tomorrow I can't wait
(After Race) Matt Fox: Cavy you okay in there? Cavy: ...... Matt: AHEM, you there? Cavy: ...... Matt: I know your there Alan Cavy: Screw you, last pit stop I told you to give me a track bar adjustment, you didn't listen and we end up 3rd in points. You know your a real idiot some times Matt Matt: Man I try my best at it Alan Cavy: Just keep me away from EVERYONE when I get out of the God damn car. I'm headin straight to the hauler and avoiding any interview I can. Matt: 10-4 Cavy: My ninth (Expletive) try at a championship and we still miss it. Pathetic, absolutely (Expletive) pathetic. (Expletive) you guys. Of course last year we start pole and lead most laps and finish 2nd but not today. I'm (Expletive) 38 and I do not have one good (Expletive) thing on my (Expletive) Resumè. We're still (Expletive) struggling at top 10s now guys. Absolutely pathetic. Guys I'm going to retire in the next 5 years or so, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO (Expletive) PULL THREW FOR THIS CAR AND I?
OOC After the race: Hey Look I was right. Kurtis of course won the championship because he can pretty much dominate anything. Grats to him on the championship because he deserves it much more than I do.

Kurtis: Damn, I'm at a loss of words after today. We struggled at the end. I was lucky enough to pass Cole to barely edge it out. Smith clearly had the faster car and I honestly thought he won the championship once I crossed the line. Gotta thank CBM for giving me the opportunity for giving me fast cars in the past. I doubt I'll go for 2 in a row, since that's a long shot, but I want to see someone else win the championship. There are lots of fast drivers just as deserving that should win the title, but I won't give up without a fight.

I haven't watched the race but look at DJ's post, I feel like we didn't do good. I want to thank Cavy for helping me start up the team. Hopefully we can still be good friends when I see you on the track and I am ready for our 3 young talents to come in and get one of them ROTY and maybe championship contention.

Johnson: "...I gave my heart and soul out there for Jeffery. I think I did him proud, but I need to do better. I've need to be the best out there. I need to win for him. Maybe, a championship. I'll drive the wheels of the Red Bull machine. And I'll do it so for him."
Shock Jr. : "With me and my Lites teammate in a Patriots Trophy ride, you got my help!"

Barely missed the top 20 but we were running strong for the majority of the race. Now it's time to put on the Red Bull fire suit and win Rookie of the Year!
