Tilton announces that no one will be locked into the finale
In a not so surprising move, ARCSOA CEO Stephanie Tilton announced that they will not be granting provisionals to the 11 drivers who will be fighting for the championship. She stated "The original plan was to grant provisional spots to the championship contenders, however with 11 championship contenders, that being a record, we simply could not do that. I have a feeling if one or two miss, they will jump into another car. I will allow teams to swap drivers if they keep them in the same number." Qualifying for the ARCSOA 400 will begin tonight at 7:00 PM with the large 66 car session. The Last Chance Qualifying session will begin at 8:30 PM tonight.

Kenny: Nathan knows that if Charlie doesn't make the race, then he will be the one ousted. Despite me not liking this track, ARCSOA rules only allow me to drive the #1 car. And the #1 is a prototype for next season.
Mercedes United Press Release
If Micheal does not make the race, we have informed Marien that she will stand down as driver of the #11 as per team order. We need to maintain the fact that Micheal needs to be in the race. However we fully expect both cars to make it in the race with ease.
Cathenix engineering Press Release
We are in a very difficult spot, we have two drivers fighting for the championship. Therefore it would be unfair to inact a team order. However we are looking that if one of our drivers don't make the race, that we can buy out another car that did make the race, in order that both of our drivers are in.

Top 24 shootout Review
After 1 hour of practice, the top 24 grid spots have been decided. The key to the top 24 shootout was getting the track at the time. It could not be too crowded, but you also needed drafting help. An example of this was Cooper Syron, who tried to use his other tactics of waiting till the track was at it's most crowded to set a lap. However with how small the track is, it ended up hurting him. Syron actually would get bumped out of the top 22 shootout by Binky Louviere, who in turn would be bumped out by Kyle Collins. William Duncan once again shows his speed on the qualifying session grabbing pole after drafting with Kyle Nova who will start alongside of him. A few notable championship contenders did not make it through the top 24 session. Here is the list
Championship Contenders in Orange
1. W. Duncan 2. Nova 3. Shelly 4. Gallaghan 5. Shock Jr. 6. Sarrinen 7. Lester 8. E. Perkins 9. Myatt 10. Llamas 11. Perclies 12. C. Louviere 13. Durbin 14. A. Allen 15. Nikos Korodovos 16. Atwood (Car 96) 17. Angel 18. Wascher 19. Thaber 20. J. Silverfox 21. S. Perkins 22. McKane 23. Cross 24. Collins

Man we need this spot in the championship. Just making it into the fight after missing two races is an achievement by itself
Kurtis has a big chance of winng the championship if everyone infront don't make it. If Ivan or Vincent make it and not Kurtis, one of them would have to sit out. Just saying.

Rest of field decided, Ammermuller, Fibrosis, and Nelson fail to qualify
In a rather surprising last chance qualifying race, 3 major championship contenders fail to qualify. Micheal Ammermuller got bumped out by Tristain Wilhoit, Charlie Fibrosis had numerous mechanical issues, and Allie Nelson got bumped by Charlie Smith. Other then that, the majority of big name drivers did in fact make the show. The points leader Ammermuller, and Charlie Fibrosis are expected to jump into the 11 and 1 cars respectively. However no word on if S3 will pull Thaber from the 88 to throw Nelson in.

Shock Jr.: "We made heads turn leading the first lap. We did what we had to do, get good spots, and safe the car. I'm happy we get a chance to show what we have coming next year in the Elites Series. And well... Even my dad, Sr. said he wants out of retirement just to compete in the 700! And HE mentored Finguy! I want our family name to be said loud and proud. WE ARE HERE! SHOCK JR. IS HERE!" *And he passes out then and there*

Tamur: Here's to next seaso
James: This year I was the most consistent and competitive I could possibly be. The cards did not line up in favor for this team, but in the end, this was by far my best season, and I plan on coming back next season and winning. Have to Thank Cathenix, Morotorolla, Jaguar, My team, My sister Amy running crew chief, but most of all I have to thank My teammate Gaulighen. Without him giving me data and mentoring me I would not have been able to make this a successful season. Congrats to Fibrosis, and maybe one day I can steal a win away from him, but I am happy with this season, and I can't wait for the next.
